About the Partnership
The University of North Alabama has chosen to partner with the energy and sustainability expert Schneider Electric on an energy efficiency project to demonstrate the University's commitment to being one of the most sustainable campuses in the nation. UNA and Schneider Electric commit to cutting the university’s energy costs 20 percent by the end of 2020. This sustainability initiative will benefit students, faculty, staff and the community at large.
Schneider Electric’s unique approach to energy efficiency projects enables higher education institutions such as UNA to save money on utilities and reinvest back into its campus. A partnership with Schneider Electric provides universities an opportunity to improve safety, efficiency, and sustainability throughout their campus. We share a common goal with our clients – to improve the learning environment for all students and enable students’ success.
